Baby-Friendly Guacamole with Mum-Mum Dippers

Little ones love to dip, and what better a dip than nutrient rich avocado? This recipe is intended for babies of 9+ months who are already eating solid foods. As your baby develops more skills, you can keep the guacamole extra chunky or add chopped cherry tomatoes.

1 small avocado

1 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon plain yogurt (optional)*

1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Pinch of cumin (optional)

Cut the avocado in half lengthwise. Peel and pit the avocado and cut it into chunks. Add to a bowl and use a fork to mash avocado into a slightly chunky puree. Add the cilantro, lime juice, cumin, and yogurt (if using) and squeeze the lime over the mixture. Stir to combine and serve with Original, Vegetable, or Sweet Potato & Carrot Baby Mum-Mum to dip.

*Yogurt adds to a creamier consistency and can add a little tang; however, it isn’t necessary especially if there is a dairy allergy in the house.  Dairy free yogurt also works just as well.
